那天聽洛闆話當年勇，聽起來挺厲害的！

2022 年，台灣知名生豆商「 #卡拉維拉」辦了一場祕魯咖啡烘豆比賽。邀來 38 家平時有跟他們購買生豆烘焙的咖啡廳，這裡頭不乏耳熟能詳的品牌，幾乎都是大家叫得出名字的。
現場近 60 位評審，人人盲測投票。38 杯咖啡排在一起，口味各有所好，平均一杯大概也就落下一票或兩票。想在這樣的局面裡突圍，感覺實在不容易。
#最終洛闆奪冠了，是的！那時甚至還沒有晨寓呢。冠軍豆共得到 6 張票，看似不多，但在這樣的分散投票裡，已經是壓倒性的高票。
這不僅是一場比賽，更是一種肯定：能在眾聲喧嘩中被記住、被挑出，因為洛闆的專業知識及烘焙技巧，不只是靠感覺、還有邏輯與科學。
對了，延平景間裡的阿羊，其就是這場比賽的獎品之一，直接從祕魯空運來台。

Out of 38 well-known coffee brands, the roasting champion stood out—doesn’t it smell irresistible? The day Ah Yang was brought home, everything was destined to begin.

In 2022, Taiwan’s renowned green bean supplier “Caravela” held a Peruvian coffee roasting competition, inviting 38 coffee shops that regularly purchase their beans. Many of these brands are familiar names you’d recognize.
Nearly 60 judges participated on-site, all blind-tasting and voting. Thirty-eight cups of coffee lined up, each with its own flavor, and on average, a cup would only receive one or two votes. Breaking through in such a dispersed field was no easy feat.
In the end, Roy’s brew took the crown. Yes, this was even before Chen Studio existed. The champion bean received six votes—modest at first glance, but in such a spread-out voting scenario, it was a decisive victory.
This was more than a competition; it was a recognition. To be remembered and singled out among the noise, Roy’s expertise and roasting skills relied not just on intuition, but also on logic and science.
By the way, Ah Yang in our Yanping store is actually an alpaca—the very prize from that competition, flown all the way from Peru.
So… doesn’t it smell irresistible?
